The Academy is a hands on, immersive outdoor education experience! As Central Florida’s premier wilderness outfitter, we offer overnight and day courses on Survival, Bushcrafting, Permaculture, Gardening and other Specialty Workshops.
We believe it is important for people to be knowledgable about basic human needs & self reliance. We all know too well that our normal lives can be turned upside down in an instant, and in that moment will you be ready to take care of yourself and your loved ones? Equipped with experience, our students attain a level of understanding and practice not possible in other settings, and the confidence of knowing they have the skills necessary to survive & thrive in any situation.
We are hands on & immersive, this means that while attending one of our courses you may be exposed to inclement weather, mosquitos, venomous snakes and various natural farm and outdoor hazards. Unless we notify you specifically, all classes will be held regardless of weather. As they say, “If it ain’t raining, you ain’t training”
