We promise that any Forge or Woodshop product you receive from us will stand the test of time, becoming an heirloom piece passed down from generation to generation.
If, by some incredible mishap, you receive a product that does not perform its intended use, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you.
Please keep in mind that certain products require regular maintenance & care, and failure to maintain the product may not constitute a product failure. Here is a brief list of issues not covered by warranty:
Blade dulling over time: Knives require periodic sharpening, gradual dulling without chipping or rolling of the blade is normal. If your are not practiced at sharpening, we offer a mail-in service here.
Blade breakage/chipping from improper use: Our knives are not intended to be used as pry bars, screwdrivers, or hacksaws. Damage to your blade from improper use seriously shortens the life of your tool.
Damage from rust: Our carbon steel blades are quite susceptible to oxidation, and should always be maintained with a thin coat of oil. Even stainless steel can rust, so we recommend using a consistent practice of always oiling your blades.

Our Chef's Knife, inspired by the traditional German pattern, incorporates unique designs to improve utility and style. Blade length measures 8 1/4", overall length is 12 3/8". These knives are available in 1095 Carbon, 440C Stainless & Elmax Stainless Steels.
