The Traditional Fixed Razor is a fixed blade, hand forged, hollow ground straight razor. The blade is 3", and the overall length is 7 1/2". The Traditional Fixed Razor comes in a rustic presentation box for storage.
The Traditional Razor is hardened & minimally tempered at 63 RwC to create the finest cutting edge possible. As a result the blade will be relatively brittle, and should be handled with care. Because this razor is hand forged, we only offer it in 1095 high carbon steel. High carbon steels require maintenance to prevent rusting. Always wipe down the entire razor with an oil cloth after use.
The storage box is made of select Maple or Walnut, and finished entirely with hand tools for an authentic old world appearance. Integrated into the lid is a leather strop, pre treated with mink oil, to help keep your razor keen for years to come.
